Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus availableOpportunity:Special Procedures Tech - RadiologyJob Details:• Work day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM • 5x8 schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week • 13-week assignment length • Call coverage required 1-2 weekends per month plus 4-6 weekdays per month • 1:1 ratio procedural patient care • Required licensure: ARRT (R) • Preferred licensure: Advanced registry (CI, VI, RCIS) • Required certification: BLS from AHA only • Minimum 2 years relevant Interventional Radiology experience required • Preferred certification in VI, CV, or RCIS • Float requirements as required by facility • Green surgical scrubs provided daily and must remain within facility • Work with Siemens equipment and EPIC Radiant EMR system • Perform diagnostic and invasive procedures for various anatomy and pathology • Support care team during procedures including scrub assistance • Operate special procedures imaging equipment following radiation safety practices • Administer contrast materials and review medication reconciliation forms • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures • Care for oncology, dialysis, neurology, and PE patientsFacility:This healthcare facility features four state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology Suites and has earned a B grade in The Leapfrog Group's Hospital Safety Grade.
