Head of Recruiting (ABA Experience)Spring Valley, NY $140,000-$175,000 The Head of Recruiting leads all talent acquisition efforts for an ABA organization, overseeing a team of recruiters and driving strategies to attract, hire, and retain high-quality clinical and administrative staff. This role requires deep knowledge of ABA staffing needs, strong leadership skills, and the ability to scale recruiting operations across multiple locations or regions. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters, ensuring productivity, consistency, and high-quality candidate experience. Develop and execute recruiting strategies for BCBAs, RBTs, Behavior Technicians, and operational roles. Oversee full-cycle recruiting processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management. Build pipelines for high-volume ABA roles and hard-to-fill clinical positions. Partner with operations and clinical leadership to forecast staffing needs and align hiring priorities. Ensure compliance with state requirements, credentialing standards, and ABA industry expectations. Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-hire, candidate quality, and recruiter performance. Strengthen employer branding and outreach through job boards, universities, career fairs, and community partnerships. Implement systems, tools, and workflows that improve efficiency and scalability. Handle escalated hiring challenges and ensure smooth onboarding handoffs. Qualifications 3-5+ years of recruiting leadership experience, including managing multiple recruiters. Direct experience hiring for ABA roles (BCBAs, RBTs, BTs) and understanding ABA credentialing requirements. Strong knowledge of high-volume recruiting strategies and healthcare/behavioral health hiring trends. Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting analytics. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
