Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital. Responsibilities: Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the Infusion department. Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period. Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care. Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients. Requirements: Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems IA RN license BLS and ACLS are required. Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience or equivalent required Experience with infusion-related treatments, therapies, and procedures preferred Schedule: 60 hours per pay period Mon-Fri; 8a-4:30p On-call as needed Must be able to work into evening if needed Potential holidays and weekends as needed The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department Spencer Hospital offers competitive wages, affordable insurance, IPERS retirement, in-house education, paid time off, family gym membership and so much more!
