Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Security Engineer, SSO to join their team. As a Mid Level - Security Engineer, SSO, you will be part of the Security Operations team supporting enterprise security initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Security Engineer, SSO Location: Southlake, TX (Preferred) and Secondary Locations - Austin, TX or Phoenix, AZ. This role is onsite with a hybrid work model (4 days onsite per week). Pay Range: Best in the Segment on W2 What's the Job? Develop and maintain secure Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, ensuring seamless user authentication experiences. Monitor and respond to emerging security threats, creating detection mechanisms based on current threat intelligence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices across systems and applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to identity and access management technologies, including Ping Federate and related IAM tools. Support the deployment and management of containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes technologies. What's Needed? 3-5 years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on identity and access management (IAM). Hands-on experience scripting with Python or similar languages, and working with Kubernetes environments. Familiarity with Ping Federate, Ping ID, Ping Access, and federation or related IAM technologies. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of Linux, firewalls, VPN, intrusion detection/prevention, and penetration testing. What's in it for me?
