The estimated salary for this position will vary based on a candidate's transferable work experience and qualifications. This is a salary grade 103. Hourly rates start at $19.16. The range provided is just one component of total compensation including a comprehensive benefit package of affordable medical plans, employer paid dental, vision and long-term disability, 401(K) with employer contribution, flexible spending accounts for medical and dependent, paid time off, 11 paid holidays As a Support Staff II in the Psychiatric Services program, you will be responsible for the following: Attend supervision and unit/program meetings. Check appointments each morning and ensure all front desk equipment/supplies are ready and available. Coordinate office supply orders for the unit. (Office Depot, Janitorial, and Beverage) Answer phones, emails, and unit doors for clients requesting appointments with doctors and/or nurses. Check and process clients' information prior to appointments. Collect client information (identification, insurance). Scan into chart. Collect fees as needed. Track appointments and verify/update insurance and paperwork as needed. Submit information to Electronic Health Record Staff person when necessary. Scheduling appointments for department staff. (Doctors, Nurses, and BHH Staff). Make confirmation phone calls 1-2 days before doctor, nurse, and BHH appointments. Schedule intake follow up appointments for doctor, per request from CAU. Process and distribute agency mail for The Guidance Center. Run reports to ensure records are compliant and request needed information from staff or clients. General secretarial duties, including but not limited to typing, copying, and scanning documents as needed. Work in coordination with other support, case management, and clinical staff. Provide coverage for Renkim/Psychiatric Services Reception areas as needed. Complete 25 hours of program or position specific trainings annually. Assist with tracking staff's required trainings. Other duties as required. Requirements To qualify for this position, you will need the following: High School diploma with a minimum of 2 years clerical/reception experience; proficiency in a variety of computer programs, especially work processing software, and dedicated software systems; excellent written, verbal, communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills. Must be able to attend to details, track and prepare data accurately and in a timely way. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in writing, or orally. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work with a wide variety of clients and staff.
