Job Summary As a CDL Truck Driver, you will operate heavy-duty trucks tailored for waste collection and recycling. Your primary role includes transporting materials to disposal or recycling facilities safely and efficiently. You’ll also be responsible for managing and collecting residential waste and recyclable materials, ensuring our operations run smoothly while adhering to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Drive in accordance with safety and legal regulations, including DOT and OSHA requirements. Perform thorough pre and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles. Communicate promptly about any service interruptions or safety concerns. Follow planned routes and efficiently complete daily documentation. Maintain clean working environments and ensure customer satisfaction by completely emptying receptacles. Assist fellow drivers when needed to fulfill customer requirements. Qualifications: Required: Minimum of 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL. Must be at least 18 years old. Legally eligible to work in the country. Valid Class A or Class B CDL with an air-brake endorsement. Understanding of English for effective communication and safety compliance. Preferred: High School Diploma or GED. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift, push, pull, crouch, reach, and handle various materials.
