Distribution Manager - Somerville Animal Food Pantry

Make an impact with both animals and people in your community! The Somerville Animal Food Pantry is looking for a Distribution Manager to assist with our mission of preventing unnecessary surrenders of animals to shelters and rescues. About the role: Working under the Program Director, this role will have the following responsibilities: Coordinate with volunteers to distribute items to families in need on a weekly or bi-weekly basis Manage requests and communicate with families requesting assistance About you: To be successful in this role, you'll need the following: Driver's license and reliable transportation Familiarity with Google Sheets Passion for helping animals and people We are really looking for someone who can dedicate 10 hours per week to this role. Time and days are flexible! About us: The Somerville Animal Food Pantry provides free animal food and supplies to families that are struggling to financially provide for their animals. Our intake prevention program keeps animals in their homes and out of the shelter. In our first year, we have serviced over 500 families and are growing!
