To support its latest acquisitions, Sentynl is searching for a Manager, Commercial Operations. Position Summary: The Manager, Commercial Operations will lead and oversee all aspects of Field & Marketing operations with primary responsibilities to lead and manage territory alignments, field force sizing and structure, IC reporting, data aggregation, SFA implementation/management, and ad-hoc analytics. They will contribute to the development and execution of commercial and market access strategy in the U.S. This individual will be a strategic, highly collaborative leader who will bring a significant amount of experience in building commercial operations functions. They will provide active collaboration in a fast"‘paced environment to ensure successful commercial execution. This individual will also support the process for reviewing marketing materials, have responsibility for medical congress efforts, and direct and manage external vendors to ensure successful execution of deliverables. In addition, they will play a key role in building brand strategy, market insight generation, and commercial performance in highly specialized therapeutic areas. The successful Manager, Commercial Operations, will need to work across a wide variety of functions and will possess a broad set of skills which will allow them to manage a variety of projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Operations: Analyze Field Force data for the purpose of targeting, territory alignments, and field deployment. Interact regularly with Medical, Regulatory, Executive, Finance, Compliance, and Commercial Leadership. Design and administer incentive compensation plans and payouts for commercial field force that align with company's policies, principles, and procedures. Develop and maintain stringent quality control processes that ensure the accuracy of all reports and information disseminated. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain call plans, MBO achievement, and targets for field force. Serve as the lead person to address inquiries from the field force. Maintain territory mapping and alignments. Maintain data warehouse in collaboration with third party vendor. Maintain aggregation of third-party data sources (e.g., Specialty Pharmacy, HUB, etc.). Develop and maintain field reporting dashboards and analytics tools. Analyze market data to develop business rules for deployment and alignment of the field force along with other commercial operations. Evaluate, analyze, and implement complex datasets. Fully accountable for all field communications related to call plans, incentive compensation plans, and other ad hoc requests. Reconcile global inventories and demand aggregation. RFP responsibilities. Identify and manage / mitigate project risks. Marketing: Support development of marketing materials and promotional campaigns that comply with regulatory requirements. Support commercial team effectiveness through creation of tools and resources as well as providing strategic guidance. Assist with identification of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report on them to the broader team. Responsible for supporting the process for reviewing marketing materials. Manage projects working closely with Marketing, Training, Regulatory, Legal, and Medical ensuring deadlines are met. Collaborate with outside agencies to ensure projects are managed efficiently. Utilize data and process experience to identify gaps and proactively seek solutions to problem solve and increase efficiency. Congress & Sponsorship Management: Partner with Marketing, Field, and Vendors to execute both National and Regional Congresses. Serve as primary point of contact for Sponsorships & Show Vendor. Responsible for the completion of planning, execution, communications, training, and follow-up for each National and Regional Congress assigned. Manage all Congress and Sponsorship requests with appropriate documentation and ensure timely processing of requests and processing of funds. Travel and attend select National Congresses to oversee proper execution of booth initiatives and associated programs. Oversee logistics for National and Regional Congresses to include registration, booth management, travel, lodging, on site services, literature fulfillment, etc. Function as the primary point of contact between Marketing, Field, Ad Agency, and Printer / Fulfillment House for educational literature fulfillment. Manage inventory levels, dissemination, expirations, and forecasting for all printed materials. Provide reports for the Marketing and Field teams including inventory and order history. Assist Marketing by ordering clinical reprints and other printed materials as needed. Function as primary contact with Inside Key Account Consultants by holding weekly meetings while ensuring compliance with all work instructions and reporting. Full responsibility for CRM and Data Warehouse/Analytics vendors. Other Responsibilities: Lead efforts on internal communications regarding corporate initiatives and sponsorships. Assist with ad"‘hoc Marketing Operations projects as assigned. Assist with monthly/quarterly deliverables to parent company. Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Market Access to generate monthly global demand workbook and complete full reconciliation of inventory. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of pharmaceutical and biotech experience required in field operations, incentive compensation design, and analytics; marketing experience preferred. Must have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to influence at all levels. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills. Strong ability to collaborate cross"‘functionally as a consummate team player. Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to work in a highly regulated space in full compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures. The preferred candidate will be local to the Solana Beach, CA office or willing to relocate and we will also consider a remote working arrangement.
