Urologist Opening- Slidell, LAPosition DetailsWalk into a great group dynamic on the Northshore with a busy practice including 3 MDs and 3 APPs.Call: Average of 5"ší„í¬6 days a month with paid call.Share call with a community doc; would be 1:5 if someone were to join.Schedule: M"ší„í¬F schedule with block OR time.Technology: Access to UroNav, Robotics, and : Brand new state-of-the-art surgery center opened last fall.Support: Support staff in the clinic as well as in the mon procedures at Slidell Memorial: ureteroscopy, TURBT, TURP, cystoscopy, prostate ultrasound and biopsy, vasectomy.Facility DetailsWeekly group volume: 220"ší„í¬240 patientsTypical MD clinic load: up to 24 patients/dayAPP volumes: up to 16 patients/day; handle lower-acuity cases, post-ops, and UTI visitsSchedule: 2.5"ší„í¬3 days clinic, 1"ší„í¬2 days surgery/weekBlock OR time availableAPPs are shared across the practice, not assigned to specific physiciansProcedures include:- prostatectomies- nephrectomies- aqua ablation- cystoscopy- UroNav-guided biopsiesRobotics (Da Vinci) and Aquablation platform availablePreference for a robotics-trained urologist- Robotics-trained and would value a peer collaboratorHigh need for a provider with interest in female urology, incontinence, and recurrent UTI managementCall RequirementsCall: 5"ší„í¬7 days/month, including rotating weekends, shared with a solo urologist in the communityCall schedule coordinated internally among providersMajority of after-hours consults managed by phoneOccasional in-person needs: torsion, catheter xijylhu placementsHospitalists manage admissions, inpatient care, and consultsCommunity DetailsLocated in the Northshore region, including Covington, Mandeville, and Slidell, just 30 miles north of New OrleansFamily-friendly community with low cost of living and proximity to metropolitan amenitiesExcellent public and private schools ranked #1 in the stateAbundant recreational opportunities, parks, festivals, and outdoor activities throughout the yearHighly desirable lifestyle with access to nature, culture, and coastal living
