Overview: We are seeking an experienced OSB Mill Operations Leader to manage our Arcadia OSB facility, part of Weyerhaeuser Wood Products. This key role reports directly to the Panels Manufacturing Director and is responsible for driving safety, fostering a positive culture, and ensuring efficient manufacturing operations. You'll be integral to delivering products on time while achieving business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Inspire and engage your team in the safe production of oriented strand board (OSB) that meets customer specifications, while focusing on continuous improvement in key performance metrics. Establish and maintain a zero-injury culture through proactive leadership and strong safety systems. Coach and mentor leaders and team members throughout the manufacturing process. Promote a culture of trust, diversity, and engagement to enhance employee retention and morale. Oversee all aspects of mill operations, including reliability, quality, financial performance, procurement, productivity, and environmental care. Collaborate on employee relations, talent development, and the consistent application of policies across the site. Ensure the meticulous development and execution of business and individual goals, encompassing capital plans, budgets, safety strategies, and performance management. Qualifications: At least 8 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, demonstrating a strong record of success in safety, quality, efficiency, cost management, and personnel development. Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills that drive successful outcomes and facilitate networking across departments. A passion for fostering a high-performance, team-oriented culture. Strong business and financial knowledge. Proven experience in motivating team members through behavior-based safety initiatives. Excellent communication skills across various mediums—interpersonal, written, and electronic. Strong planning and organizational abilities. Flexibility to work varying hours in a mill environment as needed. Desired Skills and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, forestry, wood products, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience in high-performance work systems development. Familiarity with Lean methodologies and innovative processes. Previous experience as a Mill Manager, focusing on team culture development. What We Offer: Your remuneration includes a competitive salary in the range of $144,790-$217,185, based on skills and experience, along with participation in our Annual Incentive Program, which can offer up to a 25% cash bonus.
