Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAre you a compassionate and driven Advanced Nurse Practitioner dedicated to improving the lives of patients with neurological conditions? The Arkansas Neurosciences Institute (ANI) at CHI St. Vincent is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside internationally renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Ali Krisht and contribute to a comprehensive program covering all aspects of neurosurgery and neurological disorders.At ANI, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve optimal health and well-being. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and make a significant impact.Every day, you will: Provide advanced nursing care to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions and support their evolving treatment plans. Conduct thorough patient assessments, establish accurate diagnoses, and develop individualized, evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Prescribe treatments and collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless and comprehensive patient care. Educate and counsel individuals, families, and groups on health promotion, disease management, and maintenance specific to neurological disorders. Evaluate patient health outcomes and adapt treatment plans as needed to optimize results. Perform medically delegated functions under the direction of a physician, as outlined in your collaborative practice agreement. Actively participate in clinic and hospital department projects and committees, contributing to program development and leadership initiatives. Take responsibility for clearly communicating patient needs, care plans, and problem resolution to physicians and other healthcare teams. Job Requirements Current and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of Arkansas. Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner required. New graduates are welcome to apply and will receive comprehensive training and mentorship. Current BLS certification.
