A permanent opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to join a retail pharmacy team in Clarinda, IA. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced workweek with consistent hours. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, prepare, and dispense medications in accordance with professional standards, facility policies, and state and federal regulations. Verify prescribed medications to ensure accuracy and safety. Perform medication reconciliation when possible to support a seamless continuum of care for patients transitioning from discharge. Consult with patients on medication usage, including dosage, frequency, special instructions, and potential drug interactions. Maintain a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service and clinical care. Qualifications and Experience: Active Iowa Pharmacist license.
