JOB SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONS JOB SUMMARY Clinical Application Specialists (CAS) act as the bridge between the technical piece of medical equipment and software in the healthcare setting. Their primary function is to ensure healthcare providers can effectively utilize the technology that supports patient care. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Professional & Technical Skills Two + years clinical experience and in intra/inter departmental communication. Professional & Technical Skills related to computer software and applications. Education Associates or Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science of healthcare administration, or related health IT degree. Clinical degree in medical technology, nursing, pharmacy, or other health-related degree. License(s) or Certification(s) N/A Other Skills or Requirements Project management skills. Problem solving skills. Time management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.A strong understanding of ambulatory care workflows and operations is highly beneficial. Familiarity wtih outpatient clinical environments, including scheduling, documentation, and patient flow processes, will enhance success in this role. Ability to align clinical application functionality with the unique need of ambulatory practices to improve efficiency and patient experience.
