Job Description:
Position Summary The Accounting Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in delivering successful software implementations for SSI clients. This position manages all phases of the implementation process-from discovery and planning to training and post-deployment support-while fostering strong client relationships and driving operational efficiency. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless adoption of SSI solutions. This is a full-time salaried position and requires 20-40% travel depending upon project needs. Key Responsibilities Implementation & Project Management Lead end-to-end implementation projects, including planning, timeline creation, and execution. Conduct business process reviews to identify gaps and recommend improvements. Document scope of work, workflows, and project deliverables. Client Training & Support Develop and deliver tailored training programs to ensure smooth adoption of SSI software. Provide proactive guidance on software updates and enhancements. Create and maintain client-facing documentation and training materials. Collaboration & Communication Partner with internal teams and clients to align goals and deliverables. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Continuous Improvement Monitor client processes post-implementation to identify optimization opportunities. Participate in special projects such as mergers, conversions, and business process reviews. Experience / Skills Required Required: Strong foundation in accounting principles and ability to apply them in diverse client environments. Proven project management skills with experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze and re-engineer financial processes for efficiency. Capacity to learn, understand, and teach SSI's suite of products. Preferred: Experience in Ag Retail sectors (Energy, Grain, Agronomy). Familiarity with enterprise accounting or ERP systems. Background in software implementation or consulting. Additional Competencies: Strategic thinking with the ability to align decisions to organizational goals. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to champion change management strategies and guide users through process improvements. Pay Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
