:Position Summary:The Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting warehouse operations with a focus on inventory accuracy, material staging, and coordination with project and field teams. This role ensures materials, tools, and equipment are properly received, tracked, staged, and issued to support construction, service, and engineering operations. The Warehouse Technician plays a critical role in maintaining material readiness and minimizing project delays.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials, equipment, and tools.Accurately enter and maintain inventory records within warehouse or ERP systems.Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.Stage materials and equipment by project, job number, or service request.Coordinate material availability with project managers, service coordinators, and field supervisors.Prepare kits and prefabricated material packages for field installation teams.Maintain tool tracking, check-in/check-out logs, and equipment accountability.Assist with shipping, returns, and warranty processing.Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety within the warehouse.Support procurement with material tracking, shortages, and reorder needs.Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles as needed.Follow company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.Requirements:Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Two (2) or more years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory control experience.Experience using inventory tracking or ERP systems.Basic understanding of construction, electrical, HVAC, or controls materials.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.Valid driver's license.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in construction, BAS, electrical, or mechanical contracting environments.Forklift or material handling equipment certification.Experience with job-based material staging or kitting.Knowledge of procurement and inventory best practices.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Effective communication with field and office teams.Problem-solving skills related to inventory and logistics.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment requiring standing, walking, lifting, and operating material handling equipment. Exposure to temperature variations and noise is expected.Supervisory Responsibilities:This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.Travel Requirements:Minimal travel may be required for material pickup or delivery.
