Paul's business partner and Circle Wellness CEO, Scott Emslie, has built anumber of event and hospitality businesses and is an expert in driving strategic growth and creating impactful guest and employee experiences. Our flagship Vancouver location pioneered private wellness circuits that integrate hydrotherapy, sensory deprivation, and specialized materials. Circle Wellness is now preparing to open its first U.S. location in Fremont, Seattle.Role DescriptionReporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Community Marketing Specialist is responsible for accelerating Circle Wellness's visibility, credibility, and local demand in the Seattle market through strategic partnerships, ambassador programs, and on-the-ground community engagement. This role owns the development and execution of Seattle-specific partnerships andcommunity initiatives that materially support our launch and early growth. Applicants must be based in or around Seattle to be considered but there is no in-office requirement.ResponsibilitiesLocal Partnerships:Build and maintain a collective of values-aligned brand partnerships within wellness, hospitality, lifestyle, fitness, and arts.Develop corporate partnership initiatives that drive awareness, credibility, and bookings.Support with high-impact charitable partnerships.Build relationships with local founders, creators, and community leaders.Brand Ambassadors:Identify and recruit all local brand ambassadors.Facilitate bi-monthly meetings with local ambassador group as well as any other designated communication touchpoints.Local Content Creation:Capture and coordinate local content to support social, email, and digital marketing efforts.Work with the Social Marketing Specialist to ensure local content aligns with broader brand and campaign priorities.Brand Communications:Ensure all partner-facing materials are brand-aligned.Act as a brand steward in all external, local-facing interactions.Reporting & Insights:Track and report on performance of local partnerships, ambassadors,and community initiatives.Share structured insights and feedback from the Seattle market to inform local marketing strategy.Requirements3-5 years previous experience in community, events, or partnershipsStrong communication, relationship-building & organizational skillsProven ability to build programs from scratchDetail-oriented and confident in ability to execute autonomouslyHighly connected within Seattle's wellness, hospitality, lifestyle, or culture ecosystemsBeneficial but not requiredDigital or social media content creation experienceExperience supporting market launches or local brand growth initiativesCompensationWage: $35 USD / hour with approximately 20 hours per weekProbationary Period: 90 days
