Contract Event Program Manager - Global Recruitment EventsLocation: Seattle, WA Contract Type: Contract / Contingent Team: Global Events EnablementContract Length3+ monthsPay$60/hrOverviewA global events enablement team is seeking two highly organized and execution-focused Event Program Managers to support recruitment events across the organization. This team is building a centralized events function designed to scale operational support across recruiting initiatives globally.These roles will serve as key operational leads responsible for planning and executing live, hybrid, and virtual recruitment events ranging from intimate leadership sessions to large-scale events supporting up to 4,000 attendees. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, can manage complex event logistics end-to-end, and remains calm and solutions-oriented under pressure.This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong event production experience, operational rigor, stakeholder management, and technical event coordination capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end planning and execution of recruitment-focused events, including live, hybrid, and virtual experiencesManage event logistics for programs ranging from small executive sessions to large-scale events with up to 4,000 attendeesBuild and manage registration platforms and attendee management workflowsCoordinate onsite event operations including stage management, speaker readiness, run-of-show execution, audio checks, video framing, and production timelinesPartner closely with recruiters, marketing teams, event vendors, production partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event deliverySupport speaker coordination, presentation logistics, rehearsal scheduling, and executive communicationsDevelop scalable processes, playbooks, and operational mechanisms to support the continued growth of a centralized recruitment events functionManage multiple concurrent event workstreams while maintaining strong attention to detail and timeline accountabilityIdentify operational risks proactively and implement contingency plans to ensure successful executionTrack event milestones, deliverables, budgets, and stakeholder approvals across multiple initiativesServe as a key point of coordination during live events, helping troubleshoot issues in real time and ensuring a high-quality attendee experienceContribute to the long-term vision of expanding centralized recruitment event support coverageRequired Qualifications4+ years of experience in event program management, event production, experiential marketing, field marketing operations, or related program management environmentsExperience managing live onsite events at varying scales, including large-scale events with 1,000+ attendeesStrong understanding of event operations, production workflows, and onsite logisticsExperience coordinating speakers, stages, AV teams, livestreams, or technical production elementsExperience managing registration platforms and attendee management systemsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, high-visibility environmentsStrong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skillsExceptional organizational skills with high attention to detailAbility to remain calm and adaptable during live-event execution and changing prioritiesProficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Airtable, Asana, Workfront, Excel, or similar platformsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting recruitment, talent acquisition, university recruiting, or employer brand eventsExperience working within large enterprise or global organizationsBackground in experiential agencies, conference production, or corporate event operationsFamiliarity with event platforms such as Cvent, Splash, RainFocus, Hopin, Zoom Events, or similar technologiesExperience building scalable operational processes and event playbooksExperience supporting executive-level or high-visibility eventsIdeal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is equal parts operational strategist and onsite executor "” someone who can build scalable processes while also confidently managing the realities of live event production.
