OverviewWe are partnering on a confidential search for an experienced HR Manager to support a multi-site operational environment in the Seattle market. This role will serve as a strategic and hands-on business partner to field leadership, driving employee relations, labor strategy, and workforce performance in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership presence, sound judgment, and the ability to influence within complex, often unionized environments.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnership & Leadership SupportPartner closely with regional and station leadership to align HR strategies with operational and business objectivesProvide guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and talent needsAct as a trusted advisor to leaders navigating complex employee and labor mattersEmployee & Labor RelationsLead and manage complex employee relations issues, including workplace investigations and disciplinary actionsProvide expert guidance on labor relations, policy interpretation, and compliance mattersSupport union-related matters including grievances, investigations, and response strategiesTalent & Performance ManagementCollaborate with Talent Acquisition to support hiring strategies and workforce planningSupport performance management processes including coaching, feedback, and development planningPartner with Learning & Development to implement training and leadership initiativesCompliance & HR OperationsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (including WA-specific regulations)Maintain awareness of evolving labor regulations, trends, and best practicesSupport change management initiatives tied to organizational transformationQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field7+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or HR Business Partner capacityStrong experience managing employee relations and workplace investigationsExperience supporting unionized environments strongly preferredProven ability to influence and partner with leaders across multiple locationsPhysical Working ConditionsThis role is based in an onsite office environmentRequires extended periods of sitting and working at a computerMust be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentOccasional lifting of light office materials (up to 15 lbs.) may be requiredMonthly travel required to support regional operations as primary HR Manager.
