Our commitment is to deliver high-quality products and expert technical services tailored to meet the needs of industrial businesses in the region.RESPONSIBILITIES:This is a full-time, on-site Safety Manager role based in Seattle, WA. You will define and oversee health and safety practices and help ensure they are effectively followed by all team members. You will also conduct regular safety audits and inspections, Additional responsibilities will include supporting 5S activities and providing oversight of facility maintenance activities to ensure the facility remains a safe and enjoyable place to work.EXPERIENCE/SKILLS (QUALIFICATIONS):Associate degree or equivalent coursework required; bachelor's degree preferred; strong knowledge of relevant safety standards, regulations, and best practicesAt least three years of experience in industrial safety leadership or a similar roleFamiliarity with safety compliance management systemsKnowledge of industrial equipment and systems, such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systemsExperience in facilities maintenance is a plusExcellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasksAbility to communicate effectively with different stakeholders, such as management, operators, vendors, and regulatorsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office and other software toolsWillingness to travel and work in different locations as requiredJOB REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete all areas outlined for this position in a satisfactory manner. Requires valid license and a clean driving record is required without exception. Subject to a pre-employment background check, driving check, and drug test.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly seated at a desk. The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of his/her hands and fingers to handle, feel and operate objects such as machines and computer equipment. The ability to bend the body, to reach for objects, and to crouch when needed is also required. WORKING CONDITIONS:This position will be primarily working indoors in an office adjacent to the shop floor where temperature and noise levels may vary. Safety glasses and shoes are required in all areas on the shop floor. A normal workday is Monday - Friday 7:00-3:30PM.
