POSITION SUMMARYAs a Video Editing Team Lead you will take a bigger role in constantly improving our editing process, making sure we are leading the industry with our editing and video storytelling. To ensure success, you should have an in-depth understanding of our brand and how to follow brand guidelines while also adding creativity to increase engagement. SUCCESS LOOKS LIKEHaving cohesion between the AV/Production team and the Video Editing team so good shoots can lead to good edits quickly.Being the highest lid on the team for quality content to ensure that the team is producing assets with little to no errorsContinuing to improve our edits to be industry leader with creative assets OBJECTIVESEnsure their team adheres to video and brand standards so that every video sent by their team could be published without review.Lead content/footage upload, organization within 24 hours after events/shootsMeet with marketing team to determine ad video vision and creative assets Collaborate with social media to develop customer testimonial reels and assetsAdd additional value to the marketing team by bringing innovative ideas that enhance video quality and elevate the content being created by the team Create, manage and edit content calendar for ads/testimonialsHelp lead the strategy and execution across the team for seamless footage uploads and organizationWork with the Marketing team to determine production visionDevelop and edit SOPs to ensure they are in line with the brand guide Assist in using a studio space for live calls and other video contentReview cuts of other Video Editors to provide feedback prior to being sent to VP of Marketing Evaluate content to ensure that is optimized for social media platforms aligned with company wide campaigns and social media trendsAssist other Video Editors to create quick, same day turn around content for event promotional use and recapsAssist videographers when needed with the occasional shoot or event day content capturing.COMPETENCIESDemonstrates proficiency in creating video content for a variety of digital platformsMastery understanding of of Adobe Creative Suite - including Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, After Effects (additional programs are a plus)Ability to catch errors prior to being sent to Leadership for reviewAbility to work within 24 hour turnaround times to create content from events and publish it online Mastery understanding of the Brand Guide and how to keep content in line with the standards Advanced knowledge of professional production procedures, practices, project tracking/management, techniques and terminologyCan keep on top of current video trends, innovations in camera and lighting technology, and effective practices to stay on top of creating effective video that will best connect with our audienceVideography/photography skill set needed EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEAt least 5 years' experience in an Editor positionPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerCOMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY As an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce we recognize that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business.
