This role is ideal for a quality leader who values integrity, critical thinking, accountability, and teamwork.Our Core ValuesWe hire, review, and reward based on four core values:Integrity: character, honor, and trust matter.Pragmatism: An efficient and direct approach to achieving results.Collaboration: Humble team players who work well across departments.Ingenuity: Apply core expertise to support Juggernaut solutions in rugged design.What We're OfferingFull-time role at our headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ401(k) with match up to 4%Excellent medical coverage, including health, dental, and visionEmployee medical coverage paid 100%Family coverage availableExciting work environment with a strong team and a growing companyEssential FunctionsBuild and implement an ISO 9001-aligned Quality Management System from the ground upLead and develop the quality team while building a culture of continuous improvement and accountabilityEstablish and maintain quality processes, procedures, and documentation to support manufacturing operations, including the audit programOversee inspection, testing, and quality control activities for injection molded components and assemblies across two small local manufacturing sitesLead failure analysis, including root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action processesManage supplier quality activities, including audits, scorecards, supplier corrective action requests, and incoming inspection protocolsCollaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to embed quality throughout the product lifecyclePrepare for and lead ISO 9001 certification activitiesDevelop and track key quality metrics, including defect rates, first pass yield, and customer returnsDrive continuous improvement across quality systems and manufacturing processesEnsure compliance with relevant product safety standards, quality standards, applicable regulations, and customer contract requirementsPartner with Operations leadership on regulatory compliance across the company, including audits related to EHS and OSHABasic QualificationsThis role is ideal for a quality leader ready to grow into a broader director-level scope.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field5-8 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environmentHands-on experience with Quality Management SystemsWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and implementationDemonstrated leadership potential through team leadership, program ownership, or cross-functional influenceProficiency with core quality tools, including RCA, CAPA, AQL inspection, and metrologyHigh integrity, strong accountability, and a team-first working styleClear written and verbal communication skills for documentation, training, and cross-functional alignmentComfortable working with business systems such as Microsoft Office and document management toolsMust be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent residentPreferred QualificationsASQ certification, such as CQE, CQM, or CQAExperience with injection molding and plastics manufacturing qualityExperience with small to mid-sized manufacturing companiesStrong critical thinking in quality, product safety, and regulatory complianceProven leadership acumenExperience in a regulated environment, such as consumer goods, product safety, or complianceHow to ApplyTo apply, email your resume to QCDHire@All inquiries will be handled confidentially.Juggernaut Defense is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
