Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive House Manager to oversee the daily condition, organization, and operational readiness of our properties. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, solving problems quickly, and ensuring each home is guest-ready, well-stocked, and operating efficiently.The House Manager will play a key role in quality control inspections, inventory management, vendor coordination, light housekeeping, and damage reporting across multiple properties.Key Responsibilities Quality Control / InspectionsConduct routine walk-through inspections of homes to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and functionality.Verify properties meet company standards before guest arrivals.Identify and report maintenance issues, cleanliness concerns, missing items, or safety hazards.Perform post-cleaning quality control ventory ManagementOrganize, restock, and put away incoming inventory and supplies.Monitor supply levels for linens, toiletries, kitchen items, cleaning products, and guest essentials.Maintain storage areas in an organized and efficient manner.Notify management when inventory needs replenishment.Damage & Maintenance ReportingDocument damages, wear and tear, missing items, and maintenance needs.Take photos/videos and submit timely reports.Coordinate minor repair follow-up when directed.Ensure urgent issues are escalated immediately.Vendor & Contractor CoordinationMeet vendors, cleaners, repair technicians, inspectors, and delivery personnel at properties as needed.Verify vendor work is completed properly and on municate updates to management regarding completed work or issues.Light Housekeeping / Property ReadinessPerform light cleaning touch-ups as needed (wiping surfaces, straightening rooms, taking out trash, etc.).Assist with staging and presentation of homes.Ensure homes are neat, organized, and guest-ready at all times.QualificationsPrevious experience in property management, hospitality, housekeeping supervision, or home operations preferred.HIgh attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.Reliable transportation and ability to travel between fortable using smartphone apps for photos, checklists, and communication.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to lift supplies and move inventory as needed.Trustworthy, punctual, and self-motivated.Preferred TraitsHandy / basic maintenance knowledgeHospitality mindsetOrganized and efficientProfessional appearance and demeanorTakes ownership and pride in resultsScheduleFull-time / Part-time availableSome weekends or flexible hours may be required based on turnovers and vendor pensationCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceMileage reimbursement (if applicable)Growth opportunities within expanding property operationsIdeal CandidateSomeone who notices the little things others miss, takes initiative without being asked, and helps keep homes running at a high level every day.
