Senior Accounting Analyst (Remote)

What You'll Do:Perform reconciliations across internal accounting systems, researching and resolving variances in a timely mannerProactively identify and pursue process improvement opportunities, with a focus on meeting customer and business needsBuild and maintain ongoing partnerships with internal customers to continuously enhance service levels and ensure expectations are metResearch and resolve general ledger discrepancies related to assigned areas of responsibilityProvide input to management and recommend strategies to improve efficiency through standardization and process streamliningParticipate in and/or provide oversight for M&A activities, including system and process integrationsCollect, analyze, and prepare metrics and reporting for supported business unitsReview offshore production performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs), identifying quality, turnaround time, or productivity gaps and recommending corrective actions to managementWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceTypically requires 4-7 years of related finance or accounting experienceDemonstrated critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate options, assess risks, and determine effective solutionsStrong problemsolving capabilities, including analyzing complex issues, researching alternatives, and implementing solutionsSolid conceptual understanding of accounting and finance principles and the ability to apply them in daytoday responsibilitiesAdvanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skillsProven ability to diagnose issues, analyze root causes, and drive appropriate resolutionsExperience facilitating or participating in meetings with seniorlevel, crossfunctional stakeholdersExperience working with enterprise financial systems; Oracle experience preferredBenefits: Based on eligibility, First American offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO/paid sick leave and other great benefits like an employee stock purchase plan.First American is an equal opportunity employer in every sense of the term. #J-18808-Ljbffr
