We are dedicated to precision and excellence in meeting the demands of our clients.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Machinist role located in Scotts Valley or San Jose, CA. The Machinist will be responsible for operating C.N.C. and conventional machine tools to produce precision components according to specifications. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical drawings, setting up and maintaining machines, selecting appropriate tools and materials, ensuring adherence to quality standards, troubleshooting, and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality results within deadlines.QualificationsKnowledge of operating C.N.C. and conventional machine tools, including setting up tools and equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprintsExperience with precision machining and working with high-strength steel and large machined partsFamiliarity with quality control processes, measurement tools, and maintaining tight tolerancesStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to address machine or production issuesCapability to work effectively in a team-oriented work environmentMechanical aptitude and attention to detailPrevious experience with complex components for ultra-high vacuum systems or aerospace equipment is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical training are preferred
