Generous Benefits + PTO + 401(k) + Long-Term Growth OpportunityOur client, a highly successful privately owned construction company with approximately $250M in annual revenue, is seeking an experienced Cost Controller to oversee financial performance across multiple active construction projects.This is a NEW high-visibility role partnering closely with leadership, operations, and project teams to help drive projects to successful financial outcomes in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.?? What You'll DoOversee cost control and financial performance across 25-40 active projectsMonitor budgets, commitments, actual costs, forecasts, and profitabilityAnalyze cost variances, trends, and overall project financial performanceSupport budgeting, forecasting, and proactive cost management effortsTrack financial impacts related to change orders, scope changes, delays, and claimsPrepare executive-level reporting and financial summariesConduct project and field-level audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliancePartner closely with project managers, operations, estimating, and leadership teamsHelp standardize reporting, cost tracking, and financial processes across projectsTravel to job sites 5-7 days PER month within LA, TX, and surrounding states. ? What They're Looking For5+ years of experience in construction cost control, project accounting, or construction financeBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, required!Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reportingExperience managing financial performance across multiple active projectsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of project-based accounting and cost performance metricsProcore experience is required LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLYPlease Note: This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
