Maintenance Supervisor - Night Shift

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.What You'll Be DoingLead and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient quarry operations.Oversee equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime.Implement preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with operations and safety teams to maintain compliance with standards.Manage maintenance resources, including parts inventory and contractor support.What Are We Looking ForStrong technical knowledge of heavy equipment and mechanical systems.Ability to lead teams effectively and foster a culture of safety and accountability.Skilled in planning, prioritizing, and executing maintenance tasks in a dynamic environment.Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.Essential Experience and SkillsMinimum of 5 years in maintenance or at least 3 years in a supervisory role within a related industry.Strong leadership abilities with clear, concise, and respectful communication skills.Ability to maintain composure and professionally present information, responding effectively to questions.Motivation and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with fluctuating shift schedules, extensive movement across the plant, and occasional lifting of heavy objects and working in confined spaces.Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a quarry setting with exposure to outdoor elements, heavy machinery, and varying weather conditions.
