Job Description:
PURPOSE This role is pivotal in leading the Pro business segment by enhancing sales growth and profitability. You'll utilize effective marketing and sales strategies while fostering strong relationships with key accounts. You'll monitor key performance indicators to ensure customer satisfaction aligns with company objectives, collaborating with leadership to drive strategic local decisions. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Continuously seek out new clients using various approaches, including phone outreach, in-store interactions, and occasional external sales efforts. Keep an updated database of all prospects in accordance with company standards. Work alongside management to formulate pricing and business development strategies. Collaborate with sales, operations, and marketing teams to target developed leads and craft effective sales campaigns. Engage in trade shows, associations, and other promotional activities to boost visibility. Conduct market analysis to uncover new business opportunities and identify potential buyers. Follow up on leads to understand buyer dynamics and timelines, providing regular status reports. Coordinate prospect visits with key personnel to enhance sales interactions. Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients. Process approved services to meet sales targets effectively. Regularly meet with clients to evaluate service satisfaction and cultivate referrals. Prepare and submit proposals and responses to RFPs after obtaining necessary approvals. Enhance your business development skills by participating in assigned training programs. MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS At least three years of outside sales experience, preferably in the retail sector. Proven skills in sales and business development. Capability to analyze sales data and craft actionable recommendations. Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities. Ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of individuals. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to create impactful presentations. Proven team collaboration skills, with a sense of responsibility in project assignments. Exceptional customer service orientation and results-driven mindset. Adept at multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Willing to travel daily to meet existing customers and explore new prospects. WORKING CONDITIONS Required frequent travel, including air and car travel. Exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles may occur. The noise level is typically moderate to noisy. PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS Medium Work - Must be able to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, or 10-25 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 10 pounds constantly. Tasks may include standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
