Job Type Full-time Description PROPERTY MANAGER We are excited to announce an immediate opening for an experienced Property Manager at Long Pond Village Apartments. We seek a qualified candidate with at least three years of experience managing a multi-family apartment community with 50 units or more. You will lead and mentor the on-site team, ensuring our residents enjoy a safe and inviting home while successfully managing budgets and completing essential reports. PROPERTY MANAGER - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Lead and inspire the on-site team through coaching and accountability. Utilize exceptional sales and customer service skills when interacting with prospects, residents, and colleagues. Demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of communication and behavior. Be open to feedback and proactive in suggesting improvements. Work effectively with minimal supervision. Direct and enhance leasing and resident retention programs. Tackle and resolve resident and employee issues promptly. Maintain a 97% occupancy rate. Conduct regular property inspections. Complete required reports accurately and on time. Stay informed on relevant regulations. Effectively communicate with residents, team members, and management. PROPERTY MANAGER - SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: At least three years of experience as a Property Manager in a multi-family community with 50 or more units. A valid NYS real estate salesperson license is preferred; willing to transfer the license to Sunrise Management & Consulting. Outstanding customer service, sales, and problem-solving abilities. Proficient with Entrata or similar property management software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess a valid, clean driver's license and reliable transportation. Knowledge of fair housing regulations. Basic understanding of office operations. Familiarity with word processing, database, and spreadsheet software, and the capacity to learn specialized software. Ability to maintain detailed records and generate precise reports. Exhibit personal integrity and ethical conduct. Must not reside in a Sunrise-managed apartment community. Clear verbal communication with clients, residents, and the public. Ability to walk the property and show units, including navigating stairs. Read, analyze, and interpret budgets, policies, and correspondence. Lift objects up to 25 lbs without assistance. Prolonged periods of desk work and computer use.
