Project Engineer Manager

Our client, a leader in the energy and power generation industry, is seeking a Project Engineer Manager to join their team. As a Project Engineer Manager, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting global project execution teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Project Engineer ManagerLocation: Schenectady, NYWhat's the Job? Serve as the technical leader and manager to develop scope of work, plan schedules, and monitor engineering activities for customer projects. Provide technical guidance and interface with proposal management, cost estimating, partners, customers, and internal engineering teams. Manage the engineering execution of Balance of Plant (BOP) scoped projects from contract signing to completion. Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams to identify and mitigate project risks and opportunities. Lead technical resolution of project issues, ensuring contractual obligations are met while maintaining customer satisfaction. What's Needed? Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering or related STEM field from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 6 years of industry experience with increasing responsibilities in engineering or project management. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to lead programs and motivate teams. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
