Electrical Estimator Gpac is a national executive search firm specializing in recruitment for the electrical construction industry. We have an incredible opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join a dynamic team at a reputable electrical contractor. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary based on experience Bonus potential Comprehensive health insurance package 401K plan Generous paid vacation Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare proposal specifications and drawings to accurately determine the scope of work and estimation details. Estimate electrical work for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct job site walkthroughs to confirm project requirements. Perform complete take-offs for the electrical scope of work. Maintain detailed estimates documentation, including supplier pricing and historical cost data. Support various departments as needed, assisting with estimates in related disciplines. Analyze design options and recommend cost-effective solutions. Interface with clients during bid-walks, providing estimating support to field operations. Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership. Qualifications: 3+ years of estimating experience with an electrical contractor. Proficiency with Accubid, McCormick, or Conest estimating software. Strong knowledge of electrical installations, estimating techniques, and cost control methods. Ability to interpret computerized cost data and estimating systems. Detail-oriented with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Stable work history is essential. Previous management or supervisory experience is a plus.
