Position Type: AdministrationDate Posted: 2/1/2026Location: Multiple LocationsDate Available: TBDClosing Date: 02/13/2026Position Purpose:To provide leadership and supervision for the class instruction in the physical education and health programs.Requirements and Eligibility:Certification in physical education and administrative and supervisory service. Must be assigned to 1.0 FTE teaching position and be tenured.Essential Functions:Helps in the hiring process of Physical Education teachers.Participants in the physical education faculty evaluations.Helps set the long-term vision for the K-12 physical education program, including goal setting for the department.Supports the articulation of the K-5 Health sequence in coordination with the K-5 PE chair and Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment.Holds physical education departmental meetings with the physical education leadership team (HS department chair, MS department chair, K-5 PE and Health Head) 2 times a year.Hold 2 meetings with K-12 physical education teachers each year.Attends two Administrative Council meetings a year to inform building leadership on goals of the physical education department.Stipend: Year 1: $6,000 Year 2: $7,000 Year 3: $8,000 (required to work 5 days during the summer each year)
