Responsibilities Coastal Harbor Health System is comprised of a 145-bed hospital for children and adolescents, providing both short- and long-term inpatient care, and a 50-bed inpatient hospital serving men and women, ages 18 and up. They will increase physician and staff awareness of PHP appropriateness for patients discharging from in-patient level of care, and responsible for the development and implementation of clinically sound programs. The Director of Outpatient Services will educate prospective clients/families on program goals and benefits, as well as ensure facility compliance with all state and county regulations, Joint Commission and CMS regulations. Accountable for leadership and strategic management of the Outpatient Services program, in collaboration with the Medical Director and the clinical staff, this position assesses, develops, implements and evaluates program philosophy, goals, objectives, and treatment interventions. This position provides the leadership necessary for successful program development and maintenance through appropriate, organized, and program focused referral development activities. Qualifications Job Duties/Responsibilities1.Direct the clinical content and direction of the day and evening Chemical Dependency Outpatient Services to ensure quality care while enforcing the 12-step philosophy of recovery.2.Ensure the continuity of care and treatment throughout the step-down cycle of the outpatient program (PHP).3.Promote growth of the day and evening program through internal and external community contacts.
