Job Description:
We're looking for an EHS Coordinator to help drive a strong safety culture and ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Sarasota, FL. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, influencing teams, and making a real impact on workplace safety and continuous improvement.What You'll DoChampion a proactive safety culture by driving EHS initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across the facilityPartner with plant leadership to coach, train, and engage employees in achieving safety goalsLead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actionsCoordinate EHS compliance activities and serve as a key liaison for internal teams and external agenciesDevelop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levelsIdentify workplace hazards and implement programs that reduce risk, injuries, and incidentsTrack and report safety metrics, trends, and compliance data using EHS systems (e.g., Gensuite)Support workers' compensation processes and documentationAssist with facility-related EHS planning, maintenance, and capital project initiativesBuild relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with all applicable standardsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field (or equivalent experience)1-5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment (metal fabrication, custom equipment, or assembly preferred)Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance standardsProven ability to lead investigations, drive change, and improve safety performanceExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsSelf-starter who can work independently while collaborating cross-functionallyDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWhy This RoleThis is an opportunity to step into a visible role where you'll directly influence safety culture, partner with leadership, and drive meaningful improvements across operations.What's OfferedCompetitive compensation based on experience between $60,000 to $65,000 annuallyComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (with HSA and company contributions)401(k) with company matchCompany-paid life insurance and disability coverageGenerous PTOIf you're looking for a role where you can own safety initiatives, make an impact, and grow your career in EHS, we'd love to connect.Thank you,Rachel StewartLaSalle Network
