Employee Relations & Compliance Manager Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-5:00 PMCompensation: $85,000-$120K (Exempt)Full-Time | Direct HireWe are partnering with a mission-driven behavioral health organization to identify an experienced Employee Relations & Compliance Manager. This role serves as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters and ensures compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and HR systems. The position partners closely with leadership to support employee well-being, mitigate risk, and strengthen a positive workplace culture.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and resolve complex employee relations issues with professionalism and sound judgmentCoach and advise managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and corrective actionsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsManage leaves of absence (FMLA, CFRA, PDL) and workers' compensationMaintain HR policies, documentation, and audit readinessServe as primary administrator for UKG; manage data, reporting, and process improvementsPartner cross-functionally on onboarding, offboarding, and organizational initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree required5+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and complianceExperience handling complex ER cases and LOA/workers' compHRIS experience required (UKG preferred)Strong knowledge of employment lawHR certification, nonprofit/behavioral health, or union experience a plusSearch managed by: Carly DilworthBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
