This role will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of Musely's financial operations.You'll lead the month-end close process, oversee core accounting functions, and partner cross-functionally to support a fast-growing, operationally complex business"”particularly across eCommerce, inventory, and healthcare-related operations. This role will also support any audit and public reporting requirements.This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and lead the month-end close process, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reportingOversee core accounting areas such as revenue recognition, inventory, intercompany, payroll, AP/AR, and fixed assetsReview and manage the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packagesPerform balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analyses to provide actionable insightsManage treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment strategies to optimize company liquidity.Partner closely with Supply Chain to strengthen inventory controls, reporting, and forecasting (including cycle counts and inventory turns)Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and documentationIdentify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to support scaleManage, mentor, and develop staff accountants, fostering a high-performance team environmentSupport external audits and ensure readiness for public reporting requirementsCollaborate cross-functionally to drive accountability, transparency, and operational efficiencyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA preferred)5+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting; plus 2-3 years in a manager roleStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principlesExperience with ERP systemsBackground in eCommerce, healthcare, telemedicine, or inventory-based businesses (highly preferred)Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.Proven ability to manage complex accounting operations in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear business insightsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionallyAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-growth settingOpenings: 2Locations: San Francisco Bay Area, Salt Lake City, Utah Salary: $80k-$100kThe Benefits:Have a passion for skincare and want to work at a fast growing company?
