Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Hematology & Oncology-NP/PA • Job Type: W2 Contract • Facility Location: Santa Cruz, CA • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical only • Shift Schedule: 8a-5p; 5 days/week - Full-time • Patient Volume: 16-18 • Support Staff: - Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Pharmacy - Liaison for oral medications, Research Coordinators, Genetic Counselors & Dedicated RN staff. • Duties: - Provide expert hematology & oncology care, utilizing the co-located Infusion Center for modern treatment delivery. - Partner w/ navigators & social workers to ensure a seamless, supportive patient journey from diagnosis through survivorship. • Beds in the Dept: 17 (IP) • EMR: Cerner • Other Info: With daily multidisciplinary rounds, weekly tumor boards, a rapid diagnosis clinic, and 2 radiation centers. • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active CA License • BC/BE • DEA • BLS • Clean record • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
