Village Properties is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator & Videographer to join our in-house marketing team on a part-time, temporary/contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who excels in creating engaging social-first video content, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can help bring our brand vision to life"”with the potential for extended hours or a permanent position based on performance and business needs.What You'll DoCapture high-quality video content focused on social media (Reels, short-form video, and lifestyle content)Edit polished, engaging videos optimized for digital marketing platformsSupport content creation both in-office and on-site at listings, events, and agent projectsWork closely under the Marketing Director and Marketing Associate to execute and maintain brand visionCollaborate on creative direction, storyboarding, and social content ideasSchedule and publish social media posts across platforms as time permits (with a primary focus on video production)Occasionally capture still photography as neededWhat We're Looking ForStrong experience in videography, lighting, and audio captureProficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)Understanding of social media trends and short-form video best practicesAbility to take direction well while contributing creative ideasProfessional demeanor with a detail-oriented approach to production and post-productionComfortable working both independently and within a collaborative team environmentAbility to travel to various on-site locations as neededReal estate or architectural video experience is a plus, but not requiredSchedule & CompensationPart-time, approximately 22 hours per weekTemporary/contract role with potential for extension or permanent placementIn-house role based in Santa Barbara with on-site work as neededHourly pay range: $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience
