Driver OTR

Operates a company vehicle to collect, service, and maintain, used oil filter bins.  Oversees the appearance, operation, and maintenance of the vehicle.RESPONSIBILITIESOperates a company vehicle (collection  truck) (100 miles plus – daily) in the Mid-Atlantic States including, NC, SC, VA, GA, TN, OH, PA, MD, and KY.Perform daily inspections of interior and exterior of Company VehiclePerform daily inspection of load for safe hauling/handlingCompletes daily, weekly, and monthly log sheetsCompletes a service receipts for all customers on a daily basisCollects and transports used oil filters in accordance with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulationsDelivers/provides other products and services as required by our customersProvide sales leads for all divisions of the Company.Perform job duties in accordance with Company and DOT regulationsOther duties as assigned by the supervisor.QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED preferredTwo years of CDL route driving experience or military driving experienceValid Class A or B CDL licenseThe ability to obtain a HazMat and Tanker endorsement Excellent Driving RecordMust meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety RegulationsNo current license suspension or revocation (Work permits not acceptable)No major traffic violations in the past 3 yearsReckless/Careless DrivingDWI/DUIHit and Run, leaving the scene of an accident or failure to report an accidentExcessive speeding as defined by the DOT: any single offense for any speed 15 MPH or more above the posted speed limit.Heavy lifting requiredAbility to climb ladders or stairsAbility to stay overnightGood communication skills, oral and writtenAbility to read maps and follow directions "EOE.
