Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Sandstone, MN

An immediate opportunity is available for Per Diem Pharmacists to support multiple retail pharmacy sites across Minnesota, including Sandstone. This role offers valuable hands-on experience providing critical pharmacy services within specialty pharmacy and long-term care settings. Key Responsibilities: Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently to patients Provide counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions Administer immunizations and deliver preventive care services Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication regimens Complete medication therapy management (MTM) services Maintain accurate and compliant pharmacy records and documentation Ensure patient safety through vigilant review of prescriptions and monitoring Ideal qualifications include: Current pharmacist licensure and certification (PharmD preferred) Immunization certification and CPR certification Experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy settings Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Schedule: Per Diem availability on May 14th and May 15th Typical hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Locations needing coverage include: Sandstone, MN Walker, MN Warroad, MN Wells, MN This short-term engagement is a great fit for pharmacists seeking flexible scheduling to supplement their experience and income.
