With locations in 15 countries across Europe, North America and Asia, Daher designs and develops value-added solutions for its aeronautical and industrial customers and partners Daher is seeking an experienced and highly strategic Senior Manager - Planning & Supply Chain to lead our Planning, Scheduling, and Purchasing functions. This role is central to ensuring production readiness, strengthening supplier performance, and driving world-class materials management across our aviation manufacturing environment. You will own the master production schedule, optimize material flow, and champion supply chain transformation efforts that support Production, Customer Support, Engineering, and Development teams. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Lead, coach, and develop Planning and Purchasing teams; set clear expectations and performance standards. Drive a systems-based approach to materials management using continuous measurement and data-driven decision making. Develop industrial capacity scenarios and provide leadership with decision-ready analytics on mix, volume, and constraints. Partner across the organization to implement supply chain best practices and support operational excellence. Planning & Scheduling Own and maintain the master production schedule within the ERP/MRP system for aircraft, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. Ensure efficient material flow to production work cells and service centers while minimizing inventory levels. Conduct capacity and constraint analyses; adjust schedules for shortages, ECOs, design updates, quality holds, and priority changes. Proactively monitor order status and communicate delays or recovery plans to internal stakeholders. Purchasing & Supplier Performance Oversee Purchasing execution to support production, spares, and development requirements. Collaborate with Sourcing to leverage Supplier Scorecards and drive improvements in cost, quality, and on-time delivery. Develop adaptive purchasing processes that improve agility and responsiveness to demand changes. Build strong relationships with critical aviation suppliers and rapidly resolve supply risks. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Engineering, Work Prep, Development, Quality, Production, and Finance to align schedules and material strategies. Support timely ECO incorporation and configuration updates. Provide clear and timely status updates surrounding shortages, risks, and performance. Data Integrity & Reporting Ensure ERP/MRP accuracy across BOMs, lead times, routings, planning parameters, and safety stocks. Publish daily/weekly KPI reports: schedule adherence, shortages, inventory turns, supplier OTD, cost, and past-due trends. Establish disciplined measurement processes with root-cause corrective actions and targeted countermeasures. Continuous Improvement Lead Lean/CI initiatives to improve throughput, stability, inventory, and production predictability. Share supply chain best practices across the organization to strengthen operational performance. ? Supervisory Responsibilities This role manages the Planning and Purchasing teams, including: Interviewing, hiring, and training Assigning work and evaluating performance Rewarding, coaching, and addressing personnel issues Ensuring team alignment with company values and goals ? Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field-or equivalent experience 5+ years in production planning/scheduling or materials management (aviation/aerospace preferred) 3+ years leading Planning or Purchasing in a complex manufacturing environment Strong ERP/MRP expertise (master scheduling, BOM integrity, planning parameters) Proven ability to drive change through data-driven, systems-based approaches Excellent cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills ?
