Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: Work 0.9 FTE 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM 36 guaranteed hours per week Weekend and on-call/call-back responsibilities as needed Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles required Must have at least one 13-week previous travel assignment Two years current experience in specialty required Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment EPIC experience preferred; on-site training available Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned group of patients Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing Required certifications: New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License, BLS certification through AHA, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross Required education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) English proficiency required (speak, read, write) Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to the community, focusing on safe, effective, patient-centered care.
