Four Travel Pharmacists needed for a rewarding assignment on the CA Central Coast in San Luis Obispo, CA. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic hospital environment with a leading healthcare organization for a 13-week period or longer, starting as soon as possible. Work schedules include: Two pharmacist positions covering day shifts with 4 ten-hour days per week (7:00 am to 5:30 pm) Two pharmacist positions on a 7-on, 7-off night shift rotation (9:00 pm to 7:30 am) Key responsibilities include: Order verification ensuring accuracy and safety Supervision and mentoring of pharmacy technicians Collaboration and consultation with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care Pharmacokinetics monitoring and dose adjustments Utilizing systems like Cerner and Omnicell for efficient medication management Qualifications and experience sought: Valid California pharmacist license Minimum of 1 year of current inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Familiarity with hospital pharmacy workflows and clinical pharmacy practices This role is ideal for pharmacists seeking a travel assignment with flexible scheduling options, the chance to gain diverse clinical experience, and an engaging team environment.
