An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manager specializing in Diagnostic Imaging - CT, available for a travel assignment in San Jose, CA. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the Diagnostic Imaging department, managing 2 CT scanners (Siemens Sensation 64 & GE 16 Light Speed) Lead and support staff while ensuring adherence to protocols and quality standards Manage workflow with approximately 10-20 scans per shift, adapting to peak volume during evening shifts Coordinate with hospitalists, intensivists, and radiologists, including collaboration with Nighthawk for night coverage Facilitate orientation for new radiology floor staff and participate in floating duties as needed Handle diverse diagnostic cases including ER patients and advanced procedures like virtual colonography and gated imaging Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of management or charge experience in Diagnostic Imaging Active certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R, and valid CA Radiologic Technologist license Proven knowledge of EMR systems Cerner and McKesson PACS Strong leadership and communication skills for interdisciplinary coordination Travel Role Details: Flexible to travel and relocate to San Jose, CA Work schedule includes holidays and weekends, rotating evenly with consistent hours Department scrub color: Teal About San Jose, CA: San Jose offers a vibrant urban lifestyle enriched with diverse cultural attractions, tech innovation, and beautiful nearby outdoor experiences.
