With advanced production methods and a commitment to innovation, J&M seeks to continually enhance designs and functionalities, meeting and exceeding customer specifications.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Supervisor located in San Fernando, CA. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily production operations, ensure adherence to production schedules, and align efforts with quality and efficiency goals. Responsibilities include managing team activity, maintaining optimal workflow, coordinating production planning, and addressing any issues impacting output or employee performance. Additional accountabilities include adherence to all safety and company standards, resolution of personnel issues, communication with management and continuous improvement of the operation. The supervisor will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with company standards and maintain a productive work environment.The Production Supervisor will be responsible for two metal forming departments. These departments contain a variety of metal forming equipment and dies. Essential responsibilities include managing equipment maintenance, die conditions, troubleshooting issues and material handling and storage. This high production environment requires focus on efficiency and material planning along with cross-functional coordination in order to support customer demand. Communication with all levels of the organization will be important to the overall success of the departments.QualificationsStrong Supervisory Skills to lead and manage production teams effectivelyAbility to create and maintain Production Schedules and oversee Production PlanningCompetency in Production Management, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standardsMinimum 3 years of experience as a Supervisor in a manufacturing environmentExcellent Communication skills to provide guidance, resolve issues, and collaborate with team members and stakeholdersAttention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesExperience in the aerospace or automotive industry is a plusFamiliarity with AS9100 and ISO9001 standards is highly desirableBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred
