Job Description:
Security Officer The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and property. Key duties include patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance cameras, and responding to disturbances or emergencies. This role involves assisting guests with inquiries, enforcing hotel policies, and reporting suspicious activities or incidents to management or law enforcement. A Security Officer must exceed guest expectations by providing a positive experience during their stay. Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. The hourly rate for this position is $21.50 To be successful in this role you will: Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property by patrolling premises and monitoring surveillance cameras. Respond to disturbances and emergencies, assisting guests and employees with safety concerns. Conduct investigations of crimes against property and persons, maintaining accurate records and reporting to management or law enforcement. Assist sick and injured guests and employees, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up. Enforce hotel policies and report suspicious activities. Check alarm systems, safety, and fire equipment, and monitor the security of building doors, service areas, and delivery areas. Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operating procedures, and safety standards. Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team. Adhere to flexible scheduling based on business needs, including holidays, nights, overnights, and weekends. Maintain strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Must have the ability to push, pull, bend, squat, and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
