We are seeking a dedicated provider for a 24-hour call-based assignment in a dynamic medical group. This role offers a long-term 6-month engagement with a focused caseload and competitive tiered compensation.Position Overview Role: Locum Tenens APP (NP or PA) Start Date: ASAP (following a 90-day credentialing period) Duration: 6 months Schedule: 4 shifts per month Shift Type: 24-hour call (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) Setting: Hospital and Medical Office EMR: CernerClinical Responsibilities This is a comprehensive surgical role requiring technical proficiency in the OR and diligent patient management. Surgical First Assisting: High focus on CABG, AVRs, and Lung cases. Required Skill: Vein Harvesting proficiency is a mandate for this position. Daily Duties: Hospital rounding, patient rooming, and detailed charting. Patient Volume: Manage an average of 4-5 patients per day. Call Structure: Pager-based call; you must be available to respond and report as needed.Requirements Board Status: Board Certified in CT Surgery. Note: Candidates BC in General Surgery with a CT Surgery Fellowship will also be considered. Licensure: Active California State License is required. Experience: Proven surgical experience is a must. No-surgical experience is a deal-breaker for this facility. Certifications: Current BLS.
