The ideal candidate will be a leader and problem solver. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite.Primary TasksParticipating in the design and creation of scalable softwareWriting clean, functional code on the front- and back-endUnit testing and fixing bugs or other coding issuesBuild the front-end of applications through appealing visual designWrite effective APIsCreate Use cases and Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiencyTroubleshoot, debug and upgrade softwareCreate security and data protection settingsBuild features and applications with a mobile responsive designWrite technical documentationDrive the daily execution of an Agile project teamsHelp define, document, and track the completion of Epics, Stories, Tasks, and BugsRun agile meetings such as daily scrum, retrospectives, and planningProtects the team from over-committing and scope creep during sprint planning. Assists in estimation and sub-task creation.Leads and captures feedback and generates action items during sprint retrospective meetings.Works as the administrator of the scrum board. Ensures that the tasks are up to date in the scrum tool and that the selected tools are working well.Meets individually with team members and stakeholders as needed. Assists in ironing out team disagree-ments about processes and work styles.Consults team members on how best to work within a scrum team.Assists Product Owners with collecting reporting metrics to better provide status.Aids the scrum team by eliminating any external blockers and manages internal roadblocks through process improvement.Ability to supervise up to 9 people. Basic QualificationsMust possess an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered.BS degree and years of 8+ prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.Experience in the following applications frameworks (at least 2): React, Angular, Python, JavaScript, CSS, & HTML,Familiarity & knowledge: Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, AWS Cloud & NifiMust have the following certification: 8140 DCWF work role 802 IT Project Manager, CompTIA Security + is preferrable, also will accept SecurityX / CASP+ or CISSPApplications/Frameworks (at least 2): JIRA, Confluence, & SlackExperience or Knowledge in the following Areas: Agile software development, agile methodologies, software development life cycle management, cross-functional teamPreferred QualificationsRelevant DoD and/or Industry work experienceActive TS/SCI preferredSAFe Scrum Master & SAFe for Teams, or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master & SAFe for Teams2 years’ experience as a Scrum MasterIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
