Join a well-established medical clinic in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio, dedicated to providing top-notch healthcare services. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills to verify insurance coverage and ensure proper billing for medical services. PAY/SCHEDULE/LOCATION/BENEFITS:$16.00-$18.00/hr (based on experience)Monday-Friday office hours (No weekends!)Medical, Dental, and Vision +Stone Oak area, San Antonio, TXWeekly Pay via direct deposit or pay card MEDICAL INSURANCE VERIFICATION SPECIALIST DUTIES:Verify insurance coverage levels for each patient.Communicate with insurance companies to ensure coverage for required procedures.Educate patients on their insurance benefits, including coverage and out-of-pocket costs.Process payments for services not covered by insurance.Obtain necessary referrals for patients whose insurance does not cover certain procedures.Update patient records and documentation related to insurance and billing.Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and keep accurate records of verifications and communication.
