Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Associate Paint Operations Specialist to join the team based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.We are seeking an experienced aircraft or automotive painter who demonstrates strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have expertise in precision masking and mixing materials, as well as proficiency in spray finishing topcoats and primers.We are committed to providing our team with equal growth opportunities in a stable work environment. They are encouraged to share externally with each Boeing customer to build balanced work relationships.Position Responsibilities:Prepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various testsPerforms basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparationApplies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirementsWorks on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirementsProficiency in using gravity feed HVLP (high volume low pressure) spray equipmentAbility to perform equipment cleaning tasksBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ months of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experienceAbility to work any shift based on the needs of the operationAbility to lift up to 35 poundsAbility to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and liftingPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance dataDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Total Rewards:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
