Outpatient physical therapy experience and dry needling certification required in men's/women's (pelvic) lymphedema.Responsibilities: Examining Patients: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities. Based on the results, determine the diagnosis, prognosis, and necessary intervention strategies. Designing Therapeutic Interventions: Create and modify therapeutic plans to alleviate impairments and functional limitations, helping patients regain their ability to perform daily activities. Preventing Health Issues: Focus on preventing injuries and disabilities by promoting overall health, fitness, and wellness across all age groups. Consultation, Education, and Research: Engage in sharing knowledge with colleagues and the community, as well as contributing to the latest research in physical therapy practices. Maintaining Patient Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, including physician orders, diagnosis, treatment plans, progress reports, attendance, and discharge summaries. Ensure timely submission of charges for services rendered.Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience in Outpatient Clinic and dry needling certification required. The Physical Therapist must have completed training in accordance with minimum essential for physical therapy schools as prescribed by Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of American Medical Association. Graduated from an AMA-APTA approved school of physical therapy. Member or eligible for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association or American Registry of Physical Therapy. Active license for the state of Colorado. Current, active Physical Therapist licensure for Colorado or a permit from the licensing board while awaiting licensure examination.
